So
Sartoreality was checking out Kanye's
Louis Vuitton collaboration trainers over on
The Clones, and we have to admit, we're pleasantly suprised. Alongside LV creative director Marc Jacobs, Kanye premiered his kicks, one of which featured in the runway collection. They've got some intersting detals, including a quilted back-flap for tucking into jeans. They're pretty well designed in fact, thus the now dubiously mullet-ed Kanye seems to have delivered. I mean this is a man, who decided to almost turn his back on conventional hip hop to sing like a synth R'n'B chick, just to cater to his ego. You could be forgiven for thinking that this was another publicity stunt, an attention grabbing ploy.

When
Sartoreality first heard about the footwear collaboration range, we were sceptical. "It'll probably be sh*t" we were thinking. And our suspicions were confirmed when we saw the hideous Air-force-one-meets-boat-shoe creation that he came up with (see after the jump). However these latest shoes are a big step-up. Though not enough of a step-up to grace
Sartoreality's illustrious feet, but keep at it Kanyizzle, maybe you've got a future in fashion after all.
